Restore Healthier Erectile Tissue

The Vertica Pro console on castors, with its touchscreen and handset cradle

Vertica® Radiofrequency Therapy

Supporting healthier erectile tissue and more reliable erections through evidence-informed rehabilitation.

Most men don’t want to rely on planning intimacy around medication.

They want their body to respond naturally, confidently and spontaneously.

Healthy erections depend on responsive nerves, healthy blood vessels, adaptable erectile tissue and coordinated pelvic floor function working together. When erectile tissue becomes less healthy or less elastic, erections often become less reliable.

Vertica® is a non-invasive radiofrequency therapy designed to support erectile tissue health over time. Rather than creating a temporary erection for one occasion, it aims to improve the quality and function of the erectile tissue itself as part of a personalised rehabilitation programme.

At CoreGood, we first work to understand why your erections have changed and whether Vertica has a meaningful role in improving them.

What Is Vertica?

Vertica is a clinically designed radiofrequency technology that delivers carefully controlled energy to the erectile tissue of the penis.

Unlike medication that temporarily improves blood flow for a particular occasion, Vertica aims to support the health and mechanical properties of the erectile tissue itself.

Treatment is external, non-invasive and requires no injections or surgery.

Vertica is notified to Medsafe on the WAND database as a Class IIa medical device.

The goal is not simply to help you achieve an erection today.

The goal is to support healthier erectile tissue that is better able to respond naturally over time.

Two Vertica Pathways. One Treatment Approach.

Vertica treatment can be delivered using Vertica Pro® in clinic, Vertica Sync® at home with professional guidance, or through a combination of both.

Vertica Pro, in clinic

Vertica Pro is our professional in-clinic system.

It allows radiofrequency treatment to be delivered as part of your clinical rehabilitation programme and can be easily integrated with pelvic floor rehabilitation, vacuum erection therapy and other aspects of erectile recovery where appropriate.

For some men, beginning treatment in clinic also provides a useful opportunity to establish the programme and understand how Vertica fits within their broader rehabilitation.

Vertica Sync, treatment at home

Vertica Sync is the companion home device.

It provides the same underlying Vertica radiofrequency treatment approach in a format designed to be used privately and conveniently at home.

With professional guidance, Vertica Sync can allow you to undertake your treatment programme without needing to repeatedly travel to the clinic.

This may be particularly useful if you:

  • live further from one of our clinics
  • prefer the convenience and privacy of home treatment
  • want greater flexibility around treatment times
  • have begun with Vertica Pro and want to continue treatment at home.

Some men may begin directly with a professionally guided Vertica Sync programme following consultation.

Which pathway is better?

Neither pathway is automatically better.

Some men begin with Vertica Pro and transition to Vertica Sync.

Others are well suited to a home-based Vertica Sync programme.

And some benefit from a combination of both.

The important question isn’t which device is better. It’s which treatment pathway best fits you.

How Can Healthier Erectile Tissue Improve Erections?

Healthy erections depend on more than blood flow alone.

The erectile tissue must also be able to expand easily as blood enters, trap that blood effectively and remain firm throughout sexual activity.

Healthy smooth muscle, collagen and elastic connective tissue all contribute to this process.

Over time, ageing, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, reduced erections following prostate treatment and other factors can affect the quality and elasticity of these tissues.

As the erectile tissue becomes less compliant, erections may become less rigid, less reliable or more difficult to maintain.

Vertica is designed to gently warm the erectile tissue using controlled radiofrequency energy, stimulating natural tissue-remodelling processes that support collagen quality, tissue elasticity and the mechanical properties of the erectile tissue.

Unlike medication, these changes develop gradually over a course of treatment.

The aim is to improve how the erectile tissue itself responds, supporting your body’s natural erectile response over time.

Who May Benefit From Vertica?

Vertica may be appropriate for men who:

  • have mild to moderate erectile dysfunction
  • have noticed a gradual decline in erection quality or reliability
  • would prefer greater spontaneity rather than relying solely on medication for individual occasions
  • want to improve erectile tissue health over time
  • are interested in a non-invasive treatment option
  • are recovering after prostate treatment and undertaking penile rehabilitation, where appropriate
  • want to optimise erectile tissue function as part of a broader erectile rehabilitation programme.

You don’t need to decide whether you fit neatly into one of these categories.

Assessment helps us understand what is limiting your erections and whether Vertica is likely to add meaningful value.

Where Vertica Fits Within Your Rehabilitation

Vertica isn’t recommended because every man with erectile dysfunction needs radiofrequency therapy.

It’s recommended when assessment suggests that improving erectile tissue health is likely to make a meaningful contribution.

For some men, Vertica may be the main treatment intervention.

For others, pelvic floor rehabilitation may be the priority.

Others may benefit from vacuum erection therapy, medication, focused shockwave therapy, cardiovascular and metabolic health changes, lifestyle strategies or a combination of approaches.

These options aren’t necessarily competing with one another. They address different components of the erectile system.

Our role is to identify which components are limiting your erectile function and build a programme around them, rather than simply recommending a particular technology.

Understanding first. Recommendation second. Technology third.

What Does the Research Show?

Research into penile radiofrequency therapy continues to evolve.

Clinical studies investigating Vertica in men with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction have reported improvements in:

  • erectile function
  • erection quality
  • sexual confidence and satisfaction.

The science behind radiofrequency therapy also provides a rationale for supporting changes in collagen structure, tissue elasticity and tissue remodelling.

This is particularly interesting because Vertica is not designed simply to create a temporary increase in erectile response. It targets the health and mechanical properties of the erectile tissue itself.

What Results Can I Expect?

Vertica isn’t used immediately before sexual activity to create an erection.

Treatment is delivered over time, allowing changes in erectile tissue and function to develop progressively.

Men may notice improvements in areas such as:

  • erection firmness
  • reliability
  • ability to maintain an erection
  • confidence in their erectile response
  • reduced dependence on planning intimacy around an on-demand treatment.

How much improvement you experience depends on what is contributing to your erectile dysfunction and the health of the different systems involved.

That’s why we monitor progress rather than assuming every man will respond in exactly the same way.

Common Questions

Is Vertica painful?

No. Most men describe the treatment as a comfortable warming sensation. Treatment is non-invasive and generally very well tolerated.

How many treatments will I need?

Vertica treatment is delivered as a programme over time rather than as a single treatment. The exact programme depends on whether you’re using Vertica Pro, Vertica Sync or a combination of both. We’ll establish your treatment programme and review points based on your assessment and chosen pathway.

Do I need Vertica Pro before using Vertica Sync?

Not necessarily. Some men benefit from beginning treatment in clinic before transitioning to Vertica Sync. Others may be suitable for a professionally guided home programme from the outset. We’ll help you decide which pathway makes the most sense.

Is Vertica Sync a lesser version of Vertica Pro?

No. Vertica Pro and Vertica Sync are designed for different treatment settings. Vertica Pro is our professional in-clinic system. Vertica Sync provides the Vertica radiofrequency treatment approach in a device designed for use at home. Rather than thinking of one as better than the other, we determine where and how your treatment is best delivered.

How is Vertica different from medication?

Medication temporarily supports the erectile response when taken. Vertica aims to improve the health and mechanical properties of the erectile tissue itself, supporting your body’s natural erectile response over time. For some men, both approaches may be used as part of a broader programme.

Is Vertica the same as focused shockwave therapy?

No. Vertica and focused shockwave therapy use different forms of energy and target erectile rehabilitation in different ways. Depending on what is contributing to your erectile dysfunction, one may be more appropriate than the other, or they may have complementary roles at different stages of rehabilitation.

Can Vertica be combined with other treatments?

Yes. Vertica can be integrated with pelvic floor rehabilitation, vacuum erection therapy, medication, focused shockwave therapy, lifestyle optimisation and cardiovascular or metabolic health strategies where appropriate. The point isn’t to add as many treatments as possible. It’s to address the factors that are actually limiting your erectile function.

Is Vertica suitable for everyone?

No. Erectile dysfunction has many possible causes. Your symptoms, medical history, erectile function and goals all influence whether Vertica is likely to add meaningful value to your rehabilitation.

Is Vertica Right for Me?

You don’t need to know whether Vertica is the right option, or which Vertica device you need, before reaching out.

That’s our job.

We’ll assess your erectile function, identify the factors limiting your erections and determine whether improving erectile tissue health with Vertica is likely to make a meaningful contribution.

If it is, we’ll explain why and recommend the most appropriate pathway:

  • Vertica Pro in clinic
  • Vertica Sync at home
  • or a combination of both.

If another approach is likely to produce a better outcome, we’ll recommend that instead.

Who Is Vertica Not Suitable For?

Vertica is not appropriate for everyone. Tell us about all of the following when you book, before you arrive.

Vertica is not used where any of the following apply:

  • A cardiac pacemaker implant, or any other form of heart condition such as an arrhythmia.
  • Any metallic implanted device, including body piercings, located around the area being treated.
  • Any skin damage to the area being treated, such as lesions.
  • A blood clot disorder.
  • Antiplatelet medication.
  • Isotretinoin (Accutane), currently or at any point in the last 12 months.
  • Any neurostimulator implant.

This is the manufacturer’s list from the instructions for use, and it governs. We go through it with you before your first treatment rather than relying on you having read it here.

If one of these applies to you, it does not mean there is nothing we can do. It means Vertica is not the tool, and we will work with the rest of what we have.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Your first appointment isn’t about committing to Vertica.

It’s about understanding why your erections have changed and where we have the greatest opportunity to improve them.

From there, we’ll explain your options.

If Vertica is the right tool, we’ll help you choose the treatment pathway that best fits your needs, location and lifestyle.

If it isn’t, we’ll tell you what we think will make a greater difference.
